Principal for the Day

If I was principal for the day I would do many things, here are five of them. The first thing I would do as the principal is tell all teacher to give out no homework for the rest of the month. This is so all the students would be happy and more exited to go to school. The second thing I would do is schedule a therapist for Mr L. This is because he always looks and acts like he’s in the army or something. We need to snap him out of it. The third thing I would do is shorten the school days. The perfect time is to start 9:15 to 12:45. This is so kids can get sleep and get time to have fun after. The fourth thing I would do is make break longer, so instead of fifteen minutes I would change it to thirty minutes. The last thing I would do is let kids be able to eat during class. Just if they were hungry during class they are able to eat inside but have to clean up after themselves.

Rad Reading November: Fast Break

This month I read a book called Fast Break by Mike Lupica. This book is about a kid named Jayson Barnes. He is on a school basketball team. He is blazingly fast but he steals other items than just basketballs. Jaysons mother passed away forcing him to live by himself. But one day he got caught by child protective services and gets sent to a foster home. With a new home and new school Jayson has to bear with new teammates and new parents.

I love this book because of how much is going on. I love books with a lot of action. So this book is perfect to me. If anybody likes fast paced action books. Fast Break is for you!

My favorite character is Jayson because he is relatable a quote to support this is “there’s only one thing on his mind, basketball.” This is relatable because when I’m about to practice the sport is all I think about.

My favorite quote is “the key to the fast break is everyone running hard for their teammate’s.” I like this quote because it shows that everybody needs to cooperate, Which a lot of teams don’t have. So teams and rude or uncooperative teammates can take not of this book and help improve themselves.
